Duboff Locksmith Services is a mobile commercial locksmith based in San Tan Valley, Arizona, serving businesses across the Phoenix Valley. Scott Duboff rekeys locks after staff changes, repairs and replaces commercial locks and door hardware, services high-security cylinders, and handles business lockouts 24/7. He's the same certified technician who services safes, bank vaults and GSA containers, so one call covers the front door and the safe in the back office.
What Scott handles for businesses
| Need | What it means |
|---|---|
| Rekeying | New pins in your existing locks so old keys stop working. Common after an employee leaves or keys go missing. |
| Lock repair | Fixing locks that stick, turn hard, or don't latch. |
| Lock replacement | Swapping worn or damaged commercial locks for new ones. |
| High-security cylinders | Locks with restricted keys that can't be copied at a hardware store. |
| Master key systems | One key plan for the whole building: each person's key opens only their doors, and a master key opens them all. |
| Exit devices and panic bars | Installation and service of the push bars on exit doors. |
| Door closers | Installation and adjustment so doors close and latch on their own. |
| Access control | Some access control systems. Ask Scott about yours. |
| Business lockouts | Getting you back into your office, store or warehouse, 24/7. |
| Safes and vaults | Safe opening and service, electronic safe locks, bank vault doors and time locks. |
Master key systems
A master key system lets a business manage many doors under one plan for key control. Each employee carries a key that opens only the doors they need, managers carry a key for their area, and the owner or facility manager has a master key that opens everything. When someone leaves, only the locks on their key need attention, not the whole building.
Scott creates master key systems that help businesses manage multiple doors under the same key control. He completed Best Practices in Master Keying training through the ALOA Security Professionals Association.
When to rekey a business
Rekeying is the fastest way to take back control of who can get in. Plan a rekey when:
- An employee, manager or contractor leaves and you can't account for every key.
- Keys are lost or stolen.
- You move into a space that someone else used before you.
- You've lost track of how many copies are out there.
Rekeying keeps the hardware you already have. Only the inside of the lock changes, so it costs less than replacing locks and takes less time.
Why high-security cylinders matter
A standard key can be copied at almost any hardware store. A high-security cylinder uses a patented key that can only be duplicated through authorized channels. That gives you key control: you decide who has a key, and copies can't be made behind your back. For offices with sensitive records, cash or inventory, that control is often the point.
Scott installs whichever high-security brand the customer wants, including Medeco, Mul-T-Lock and Schlage. He has completed Schlage High Security Cylinder Servicing training through IDN-H. Hoffman.
